Angela attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 1991.  She is the Fort Huachuca Public Affairs Officer and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing public affairs support for all organizations on the installation to include community relations; media operations; information strategies; and liaison between tenant organizations, garrison, and the public.  She is the principal staff advisor to the Garrison Commander and senior staff on all matters involving public issues and the creation of communication policy to inform a nationwide audience of the role of the installation in national defense.  
 
Prior to joining the USAG Fort Huachuca team in 1998, she worked for multiple news outlets, including rural newspapers, trade magazines, and special interest publications.  She began her government career as an editorial assistant at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences Bethesda, Maryland, before heading to Panama with the military's Tropic Times newspaper in the Canal Zone.  She is an honor graduate of the Defense Information School Public Affairs Office Qualification Course with more than 25 years of federal service.  
 
Angela has two adult daughters who both attended Fort Huachuca Accommodation Schools for their elementary and middle school education.  She is active with her church women's organization, enjoys many creative arts hobbies, and spending time with her three dogs.
