Open enrollment for new and returning students is open for the 2026 - 2027 School Year!
Any new open enrollment students will be placed on a wait list. Notification of acceptance or continued wait list status will take place over Summer 2026.

FHASD Open Enrollment Information
The district serves the military families stationed on Fort Huachuca. Annually there is an average mobility rate of 30% due to military moves (PCS). Though these moves occur at any time, the majority occur between July and September, and then again between December and January. Due to the mobility of our military family population the district will retain 5% of the capacity for resident student enrollment.

Special Education Program capacity numbers follow district policy regulation IIB-R. The superintendent also uses the current case severity and special education staffing in determining capacity.
